1. Delete or uninstall App: if you
want to uninstall an app you don’t have to go in settings and uninstall from
there. This function is simpler and straight in jelly bean rather than in
previous versions.
- Tap long on the icon of app you want to uninstall.
- Then fling it towards up
- Here you would see uninstall button, it would ask you if you really want to uninstall, press yes and it’s gone
2. Face Unlock: Face unlock feature is an advanced function in
android. It’s interesting but face lock
is not
considered very safe.It is less favorable than pin code,
pattern and password lock.
- To enable face lock, go in to settings, tap on security
- Click on Screen lock, select face unlock and set face unlock for your mobile.
3. Raining Jelly bean: it’s a
fun trick you see in android jelly bean. This thing does not affect your
android
experience any way, it’s just a fun trick to play with, like other fun
tricks in google search like Google gravity.
- Go in to the settings
- Tap on the about phone, click there on android version few times
- You will see a big red jelly on screen, tap on this jelly few times and you will see many jellies on screen floating here and there like in space.
- You can fling, swipe these jellies in any direction. It’s simple fun, no other use.
4. Take a screenshot: you can take a screenshot of screen in android jelly bean. It will give you whatever you are looking at, with all icons and info. The whole screen just get shot and saved in a separate folder name as screenshot, in your gallery.
- Press your volume down button and power button together.
- You will get a screenshot. You can save, delete, edit it and share to anyone.
5. Owner info: This feature comes in handy, if your mobile gets stolen or you left it somewhere and forgot. Then if somebody picks your mobile, he will see your contact details on the lock screen, to contact you.
- Go into the settings, click on security
- Tap on owner info, check “show owner info on lock screen”
- Write down all the details you want to show on the lock screen.
